Over 8 weeks, I'll be taking my students on a lengthy tour through extended chords and how to use them. That means we'll be tackling the BIG chords like 13ths and altered chords. But along the way, I'll be assigning skill-building projects that gradually touch on more complex composing techniques.
The Schedule
The workshop will begin on Monday, November 2nd, but you can enroll later at any time to access all lesson resources.
Every Monday, I'll post a pre-recorded lesson, along with a pdf of the slides, an assignment, and an open post on the members-only forum.
Then every Tuesday, I'll do a livestream to answer any questions that were posted, and also do live-composing to accomplish the assignment. This will offer you the chance to ask questions about not just the lesson content, but the composing/production/arrangement process as well.

Week 1: 7th Chords and Modal Harmony
Week 2: 9th Chords and Borrowed Chords
Week 3: 11th Chords and Chord Voicings
Week 4: 13th Chords and Secondary Dominants
Week 5: Altered Chords and Voice Leading
Week 6: Melodic and Harmonic Minor Harmony
Week 7: Secondary 2-5-1's and Final Assignment
Week 8: Listening Party for Final Assignment
Submissions and Feedback
Each week, you are encouraged to share your completed musical assignments by uploading them into the forum post. There, you can receive feedback from other community members, and offer your own as well.
I'll choose 4 submissions each week to review on the livestream, and offer constructive criticism.
For the final assignment, I'll be reviewing all submissions that are are completed for a graduation listening party.

The course is available for all Signals Music Members. Membership is $5/month and will also grant you access to my past workshops, lessons, and downloads.

Late Enrollment
This workshop, like my others, will be available afterwards for repeated viewing. All the slides, videos, livestreams, and forum posts will be preserved so you're free to sign up even after the course is complete.
